Wilmington

Deep espresso, roasted umber, and weathered walnut clays provide the dark, brooding foundation of Wilmington from the North Carolina Collection, handsomely interspersed with scorched charcoal reduction headers and heavy, chalky white-to-cream slurry washes across the face. The unit carries an artisanal, tumbled texture characterized by rolled, softly battered arrises, shallow face clefts, and delicate drag pitting that catches shifting outdoor light while holding straight, structured bed lines across the elevation. Ideally suited for transitional multi-gable craftsman homes, European country manors, and classic suburban ranches, it coordinates effortlessly with natural stained-wood garage doors, rich cedar shutters, sage or taupe board-and-batten siding, and dark bronze porch fixtures.

Supplied in both Queen and Engineer sizing to satisfy diverse elevation scales and high-efficiency installation schedules, Wilmington transforms its aesthetic presence based on the mortar joint treatment. Setting the courses with an Ivory or bright White mortar produces an open, luminous matrix that connects with the pale slurry finish, framing each dark chocolate unit and pulling rowlock sills, arched porticos, and garage lintels into crisp architectural focus; in contrast, striking the joints with a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar recedes against the brickwork, gently uniting the deep espresso, taupe, and scorched charcoal faces into an understated, harmonious wall plane with natural color flow.
