Southampton

Toasted almond, warm honey-buff, and golden khaki clays provide the grounded foundation of Southampton from the North Carolina Collection, handsomely interspersed with smoldering charcoal-brown flashed headers, weathered taupe accents, and delicate chalky slurry veils across the run. The face displays an artisanal, tumbled texture characterized by rolled and softened arrises, shallow surface crevices, and light drag pitting that catch soft outdoor shadows while maintaining straight, disciplined horizontal coursing. An ideal specification for grand French country manors, transitional multi-gable craftsman homes, resort-style clubhouses, and upscale multi-family communities, it coordinates naturally with rough-hewn dry-stack stone veneer, standing-seam bronze porch roofs, slate-blue or dark olive shutters, and rich stained-wood entry doors.

Supplied in Queen, Engineer, and Modular formats to satisfy diverse architectural scale preferences and high-efficiency installation schedules, Southampton delivers distinct visual versatility through mortar selection. Specifying an Ivory or bright White mortar produces an open, sun-washed elevation where the joints connect with the pale clay and slurry highlights, pulling grand arched porticos, soldier lintels, and projecting gables into crisp architectural focus; conversely, tooling the bed lines with a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar recedes smoothly against the brickwork, gently uniting the golden buff, umber, and charcoal-kissed stretchers into an understated, harmonious wall plane with natural color flow.
