River Street

A moody, weathered palette of dark espresso, charcoal-brown, and roasted umber clays forms the grounding foundation of River Street of the North Carolina Collection, handsomely veiled with heavy silvery-gray slurry washes and chalky buff highlights across the face. The unit features an artisanal, tumbled texture characterized by deeply rolled and pitted faces, ragged clefts, and organically softened arrises that capture gentle raking light while preserving disciplined horizontal coursing alignment. Exceptionally well-suited for coastal lowcountry cottages, transitional suburban manors, and modern craftsman elevations, it coordinates effortlessly with creamy off-white porch columns, rich mocha shutters, dark bronze window mullions, and subtle slate-gray garage accents.

Available in various sizes to give architects and builders complete geometric freedom across project elevations, River Street delivers exceptional visual versatility through mortar joint specification. Laying the brickwork with an Ivory or bright White mortar produces a sharp, graphic grid that cleanly separates each unit, accentuating the silvery-gray slurry veil and pulling archways, gabled pediments, and structural porch piers into prominent architectural focus; conversely, specifying a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar settles the bed lines, quietly knitting the multi-tonal charcoal, espresso, and weathered stone faces into an enduring, monolithic masonry field with tailored finish consistency.
