Red-Blue Carbon

Deep claret, roasted burgundy, and rich brick-red clays form the smoldering ground of Red-Blue Carbon of the Röben Collection, layered with iridescent gunmetal-blue flashing, carbon reduction hazes, and delicate coppery-amber undertones that shimmer across the face. The unit features an artisanal, drag-faced wirecut texture marked by fine vertical striations, subtle planar chatter, and sharp, square-cut arrises that maintain clean, disciplined coursing lines while catching directional light. Designed for bold modern facades, urban commercial storefronts, dramatic fireplace towers, and moody hospitality interiors, it pairs effortlessly with matte black steel framing, burnished bronze accents, dark charcoal siding, and warm rift-sawn walnut woodwork.

Supplied exclusively as a lightweight, surface-mount thin brick veneer with matching factory corner units, Red-Blue Carbon brings the authentic mass and kiln-fired permanence of masonry directly to vertical substrates without requiring structural brick ledges or foundation footings. Its visual character transforms noticeably based on joint curation: tooling the courses in an Ivory or bright White mortar produces an electric, high-contrast grid that crisply delineates each rectangular stretcher, making the deep crimson and iridescent blue-black flashes leap forward in vivid relief; conversely, striking the joints with a standard Gray or dark Charcoal mortar seamlessly blends the coursing lines away, unifying the iridescent faces into a continuous, brooding surface characterized by rich material depth and modern refinement.
