Oyster Bay
Chalky oyster-white, bleached ecru, and soft seashell-buff tones coat the exterior body of Oyster Bay from the North Carolina Collection, interspersed with faint sand-tan undertones and delicate peeks of blush terracotta clay where the surface treatment recedes. The unit displays an artisanal, tumbled texture sculpted with rounded, weathered arrises, shallow face pitting, and gentle clefts that introduce soft, broken shadow lines under direct daylight while holding true, orderly coursing rows. Well suited for modern agrarian farmhouses, coastal cottage manors, and French provincial estates, it coordinates effortlessly with crisp board-and-batten gables, rustic stone veneer bases, standing-seam bronze porch awnings, and soft slate-blue or charcoal raised shutters.
Supplied in an Engineer format to provide greater face exposure and efficient vertical coursing, Oyster Bay shifts noticeably depending on the mortar joint treatment. Setting the brick in an Ivory or bright White mortar produces an airy, luminous elevation where the bed lines softly dissolve into the pale surface coating, pulling entryway porticos, segmental window arches, and gabled eaves into clean architectural focus; on the other hand, raking the joints with a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar traces a crisp geometric perimeter around each stretcher, grounding the sun-bleached faces into an understated, cohesive facade with rich tactile depth.
