Medium Palomino Ripple

A sun-warmed desert tan clay anchors the face of Medium Palomino Ripple from the Columbia Collection, accented by subtle golden-sand and warm terracotta undertones. The surface is aggressively sculpted with a pronounced ripple texture, displaying deep horizontal fissures, rugged ridges, and delicate micro-clefts that produce continuous shadow movement under raking light while keeping square-cut arrises for crisp, aligned courses. A handsome fit for educational wings, healthcare campuses, and contemporary commercial facilities, it pairs naturally with warm limestone coping, bronze architectural framing, buff precast bands, and dark charcoal metal accents.

Produced in Modular, Utility, and Norman formats to give architects complete geometric freedom across the facade, Medium Palomino Ripple adapts dynamically through mortar joint specification. Setting the units in a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar recedes the joints into the bed lines, quietly knitting the textured tan faces into an enduring, monolithic masonry field with tailored finish consistency; conversely, striking the courses with an Ivory or bright White mortar establishes a sharp, graphic grid that distinctly frames each brick, pulling structural piers, soldier bands, and broad planar expanses into prominent architectural relief.
