Coppertone

Warm copper-red, toasted terracotta, and burnt amber clays form the lively foundation of Coppertone of the North Carolina Collection, handsomely interspersed with olive-green and dark bronze reduction headers across the face. The unit features an artisanal, sand-dusted wirecut drag texture scored by delicate surface striations, fine fissures, and crisp, square-cut arrises that preserve disciplined horizontal coursing alignment across expansive elevations. As showcased on major public stadiums, civic sports complexes, grand arched entry plazas, and collegiate venues, it pairs strikingly with verdigris or forest green architectural steelwork, clear-anodized commercial glazing, decorative metal railings, and natural limestone trim.

Supplied in Modular sizing to provide crisp, traditional proportions and disciplined coursing rhythm, Coppertone offers versatile aesthetic depth through mortar joint specification. Laying the brickwork with an Ivory or bright White mortar produces a sharp, graphic grid that cleanly separates each unit, accentuating the unique olive and bronze reduction flashing while pulling structural piers, radiating arches, and curved parapets into bold architectural prominence; conversely, setting the courses in a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar recedes the bed lines, quietly knitting the copper and green-flashed tones into an enduring, monolithic masonry field with tailored finish consistency.
