Castletone

A warm, earthy palette of buff-tan, toasted wheat, and light sand tones anchors Castletone of the North Carolina Collection, subtly enlivened by soft rose-blush undercurrents and smoky taupe reduction headers. The brick exhibits an artisanal, sand-dusted wirecut drag texture sculpted with fine horizontal crevices, organic pitting, and lightly softened arrises that capture gentle raking light while preserving structured, horizontal masonry sightlines. As showcased across sweeping commercial mixed-use developments, grand arched entry colonnades, and multi-story hospitality complexes, it pairs naturally alongside smooth Indiana limestone entablatures, contrasting traditional red brick accents, dark bronze window mullions, and decorative wrought-iron terrace railings.

Available in various sizes to suit broad commercial proportions as well as detailed residential elevations, Castletone provides versatile aesthetic range through mortar joint specification. Setting the masonry units with an Ivory or bright White mortar accentuates the light buff sand finish, producing a sun-washed, monolithic presence that pulls structural piers, curved colonnades, and soldier course bands into prominent architectural relief; conversely, finishing the joints with a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar recedes the bed lines into the wall, quietly knitting the multi-tonal tan and taupe faces into an enduring, cohesive masonry field with tailored finish consistency.
