Cape Fear

Chalky oyster-white, sun-bleached ecru, and soft ivory tones coat the face of Cape Fear from the North Carolina Collection, exposing subtle peeks of underlying sand-buff and warm terracotta clay where the surface treatment recedes. The unit features a heavily stippled, sand-faced velour texture marked by irregular surface crevices, micro-pitting, and gently distressed arrises that catch soft raking sunlight without sacrificing crisp horizontal coursing lines. Ideal for sprawling European-inspired manors, modern French country estates, and transitional suburban residences, it coordinates gracefully with standing-seam bronze metal porch hoods, dark charcoal window sashes, raised-panel shutters, and creamy limestone or board-and-batten gable infills.

Supplied in Queen sizing to balance traditional residential scale with efficient square-foot coverage, Cape Fear provides distinct design versatility depending on the specified mortar color. Laying the brickwork in an Ivory or bright White mortar produces an airy, luminous elevation where the bed lines softly dissolve into the white surface coating, allowing projecting gables, soldier course lintels, and arched entryways to read as clean sculptural volumes; conversely, striking the joints with a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar introduces a delicate graphic shadow line around each unit, grounding the pale brick faces into an elegant, continuous facade with rich textural nuance.
