Blazetex

Classic colonial warmth and fiery kiln-struck character define Blazetex of the Richtex Collection, pairing saturated russet, fiery cinnamon, and warm terracotta-red clay with deep smoky chocolate and slate-reduction flashed headers. Each brick carries a fine, sand-cast finish marked by delicate surface pitting, subtle fissures, and softly rolled arrises that lend the time-tested authenticity of vintage colonial masonry without compromising uniform bed joints across expansive elevations. It serves as a natural exterior anchor for stately traditional homes, Georgian manors, and updated craftsman facades, setting up rich contrast alongside crisp white or warm cream exterior trim, dark bronze window sashes, natural cedar porch posts, and dark architectural roof shingles.

Manufactured in Modular size for full-depth structural masonry construction, Blazetex provides remarkable aesthetic versatility across mortar specifications. Laying the brickwork in an Ivory or bright White mortar produces sharp, high-contrast coursing lines that frame each individual brick, drawing forward the brighter crimson highlights and crisply defining masonry features like soldier lintels, window sills, and arched entries. Conversely, tooling the joints with a standard Gray or warm Buff mortar knits the burnt red and reduction-flashed tones into a quiet, cohesive brick field with enduring, time-honored curb appeal.
